Relax to the sound of a rolling waterfall, complemented by the soft chirping of birds in live trees reaching up toward the skylight 10 stories above. Be sure to look around and find all of the animals!  Enjoy a cocktail at The Ram’s Head Bar while enjoying the famous Mystic Falls Laser Light Show. There a benches situated around the park where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee or relax a bit. There is a really nice holiday show with a Christmas Tree and Santa. If you happen to be here during the holiday it’s worth a visit.

Sam Boyd Commemorative Wall

If you love history there is a really nice display of the Sam Boyd history and memorabilia commemorating Sam Boyd and his insight into the gambling world of Las Vegas and beyond. I found it really interesting and enjoyed some of the old memorabilia.

Sam’s Town caters to all tastes with a mix of fast-casual and sit-down dining experiences.

Fast Eats: McDonald’s, Subway, Panda Express, Roberto’s Taco Shop, and Crazy Corn. There’s also a Dunkin’ Donuts for your sweet treat or morning coffee.

Casual Dining: Sport’s Deli offering delicious sandwiches and Smokey Joe’s Café which offers Southern-style comfort food.

Fine Dining: The Angry Butcher Steakhouse serves premium cuts of steak with a variety of mouthwatering toppings. You can also enjoy seafood, chicken or pork dishes.

We have enjoyed both the Sport’s Deli and Smokey Joe’s Cafe and thought the food was really good and prices were great for the amount of food you get. I would like to try The Angry Butcher sometime, some of the toppings for the steaks sound really yummy.

Nightlife & Entertainment

Guests can enjoy live entertainment at Roxy’s Lounge, headline concerts at Sam’s Town Live!, or a relaxed evening at various themed bars:

Stagecoach Bar: A hidden local favorite with a cozy ambiance. If you want to check out this local’s favorite, go to the second floor.

Winchester Bar: A Western-themed watering hole with progressive video poker.

Billy Joe’s Bar: A great spot to watch sports with a cold drink in hand.
