How to get in: Simply locate the Famous Food Street Eats food court and look for the blue shelving unit near Ms. Meow’s Mamak Stall with three lucky cats waving you in. That’s the door. The Cabinet of Curiosities is a magical Speakeasy. The Cabinet of Curiosities is a bespoke lounge and bar which has been designed to transport you through the door of your imagination. Each cabinet is filled with oddities from around the world. You can see them all up close and many of the curiosities have their own tales to tell. The mixologists will guide you through this curio-filled adventure and bring the stories to life through amazing drinks that are perfect for any occasion.

The Lock Speakeasy

Another hidden gem that will transport you back in time is The Lock Speakeasy inside The Cabinet of Curiosities. The Locksmith (mixologist) awaits. Daring cocktails & a secret menu will challenge your taste buds. Here’s the key to finding it: On the first floor, make your way through the Cabinet of Curiosities Bar and Lounge and locate the hidden entrance. You’ll need to pick up a vintage-looking telephone to receive instructions from a “locksmith” who will then assist you in cracking the codes for admission and how to enter the space.

 Hidden behind an ordinary doorway just off the casino floor is this ultra-exclusive, very pricey space, where visitors can sip on high-end spirits and enjoy the anonymity a true speakeasy affords. The surroundings are lavish, and the cocktails are just as gorgeous to look at as they are delicious to drink. As you could have guessed, seating is limited and on top of that, reservations are required.

This speakeasy, named after the room, where mob mafiosos would take inventory of the loot they “skimmed off the top” serves up classic cocktails and offers options off the steak house menu. Look for the “secret” entrance at the green door near the food court area just off the casino floor. It can also be accessed from inside Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse.

Getting a new ’do isn’t the only thing that happens at this lounge, where visitors can enter its secret bar via a pretend “janitor’s” door that’ll lead to another closet that then opens to the secret lounge. In addition to Prohibition era cocktails and surroundings, guests can enjoy live music nearly every night – and, if they want, a haircut!

Ghost Donkey

This mezcal and tequila lounge is a new spin on secret speakeasies that features flights of its dedicated spirits, cocktails, and a food menu that boasts the infamous Truffle Nachos. If you love tequila and mezcal, then you need to visit Ghost Donkey. Getting here: Head to level two of Boulevard Tower at The Cosmopolitan. Locate the door with a pink donkey painted on the front and you will have found the entrance. It’s first-come, first-served, and it’s open late.

Ski Lodge

Step through the doors of Superfrico, the “Italian American psychedelic” dining venue from Spiegelworld and then look for the hidden Ski Lodge. The entrance is a nondescript door with a small bronze square depicting a skier on it. You’ll be transported to a mountain ski lodge where the “windows” always depict a winter scene, and the décor is just what you think a ski lodge will look like.

Easy’s Cocktail Lounge

Hidden behind the doughnut counter at the Proper Eats Food Hall, Easy’s Cocktail Lounge is the best place for a classic Las Vegas speakeasy experience. Listen to musicians perform jazz, blues, and other genres live while enjoying a selection of wines, beers, and speakeasy libations to suit the mood.

This hidden bar has vintage chandeliers, lots of artwork and mirrors on the walls and a 1920’s speakeasy vibe. Get there by taking a sharp turn in the back corner of the main dining room at Bavette’s Steakhouse, and you’ll find yourself in the Parlor Room.

On the Record

 The joy of hanging out in a record store is the inspiration for Park MGM’s new speakeasy and club experience. Finding this new club: It is hidden behind a record store off the main casino floor. Inside there are three rooms featuring both indoor and outdoor spaces, room for dancing and world class cocktails.

If you’re longing for the finer things in life, such as an extensive list of high-end whiskey, live entertainment and a private room for premium cigars, then head to 1923 Prohibition Bar.  Once in you will be transported to 1920’s New Orleans with live entertainment (including burlesque dancers and piano players on the weekends). How to get in: Inside Mandalay Bay you’ll find a set of escalators that lead up to The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. Under these escalators, locate the bookcase. Push it open, and you’re in. No password is needed.

Capo’s is a restaurant with a mafia theme and a busy bar area. This is old-school Jersey-style Italian. With dark lighting, pictures of classic mob figures and vintage music from the Rat pack this is a true speakeasy worthy restaurant. Besides the fantastic Italian food this bar specializes in Martinis. So, get ready for a great experience. Spoiler: The public phone at the entrance isn’t really a public phone. A voice from behind a small window will ask for a password, but anything you come up with will probably get you inside.

This modern take on a classic tiki bar is dark, mysterious, and full of kitschy decor.  Located in Chinatown, you will walk in through a lava rock cave, pass by a waterfall, a talking skeleton, a fully loaded treasure chest, and a conch shell large enough to sit inside. The drinks are dominated by fruity, tropical rum cocktails. The Golden Tiki is open round the clock and hosts a daily happy hour from 4 to 7 pm.

Wax Rabbit is an immersive cocktail lounge hidden within the walls of Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant.  The intimate bar features DJs playing nostalgic vinyl records and classic cocktails mixed with the best spirits from Mexico.  The Underground is a speakeasy and distillery where you can sip on ice cold gin while also learning how moonshine is created and why you don’t go snitching to the FBI about the process.  How to get in: If you want to experience The Mob Museum, purchase a ticket and you’ll get access to The Underground as well. But if you want to skip the artifacts and head straight to the liquor, then find the secret door down a flight of steps outside the building off Stewart Avenue. Knock on the door, speak the password (found on the website), and you’re good to go for fun and delicious and unique drinks.

Velveteen Rabbit

Surrounded by thrift shops in the Arts District, a secret door will gain you entrance to Velveteen Rabbit, known for its seasonally curated craft cocktails, vintage furniture, local art and a magical pink patio.  It’s one of the best hidden spots in Las Vegas, and worth finding. It’s located at 1218 S. Main St. Reservations are suggested.

CC Speakeasy

Also in the Arts District, a seemingly routine ice cream shop, Craft Creamery, is home to one of Vegas’ most creatively hidden speakeasies. Craft Creamery is more than just a place to enjoy delicious ice cream, spiked Aguas frescas, and cocktail- inspired milkshakes but also offers great customer service. How to Get In: Venture into Craft Creamery, look at the menu, and be sure to ask for the flavor of the day, at which time you’ll have unlocked access to CC Speakeasy. This is a secret Latin-themed lounge within the facility. You’ll have a chance to roll dice and have a drink crafted based on your roll and sample delicious Latin fusion offerings.
