1. Santa in the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay
Santa takes the plunge! Donning a scuba suit, Santa swims around the Shark Reef’s shipwreck, creating a unique holiday photo op. Keep an eye out for specific dates, as they’ve yet to be announced.
2. “Twas the Knight” at Excalibur
This Christmas-themed version of the classic Tournament of Kings dinner show runs weekly from November 27 through December 25, 2024 (closed on Tuesdays with select blackout days). Expect a medieval holiday experience with knights, festive music, and Christmas magic. Check Excalibur’s website for more information.
3. Holidays at The Park
Between New York-New York and Park MGM, The Park is transformed into a holiday wonderland, complete with a giant Christmas tree and seasonal music. It’s a perfect spot to relax and take in the festive atmosphere. If you’re hungry, you can grab a quick bite from one of the restaurants here.
4. Ice Skating at The Cosmopolitan
The Cosmopolitan’s rooftop is turned into an ice-skating rink for the season, offering an unforgettable experience with views over the Strip. See the website for more information. New this year will be the Coca Cola Holiday Village where you can get ice cream floats, write holiday messages or make your own ornament or enjoy the photo ops.
5. The Aria’s Holiday Display
Aria’s stunning holiday display is always must-see. Every year the decorations feature a unique and elaborate theme, drawing visitors for a quick stop to soak in the festive sights.
6. The Wine Bottle Christmas Tree at Paris Las Vegas
For an unconventional holiday tree, head to Paris Las Vegas, where a Christmas tree made entirely of wine bottles is displayed. It’s a great spot for a holiday photo with a twist!
7. Bellagio’s Christmas Display and Fountain Show
The Bellagio takes its fountain show to the next level for Christmas, synchronizing it with festive tunes. Inside, the Bellagio Conservatory showcases its famous holiday display, often with creative touches like Coca-Cola polar bears or toy soldiers. The Conservatory is always a favorite of mine especially the holiday display. The Coca-Cola bears were my favorite so far. Who doesn’t like these cute cuddly bears? The holiday show will open Nov. 16, 2024, and run through Jan. 4, 2024.
8. Linq Promenade and Flamingo Habitat
Both the Linq Promenade and Flamingo Habitat are decorated with holiday lights and offer Christmas dining options. It’s a great place to stroll through and catch a festive meal. The Promenade is always a fun place to shop, dine or just stroll but with the holiday decorations it just puts you in that Christmasy vibe.
9. Carousel at Wynn
One of the Wynn’s most cherished decorations, the flower-adorned carousel, transforms during Christmas with fresh holiday flowers and lights. The hotel lobby also boasts other seasonal displays worth checking out. This is another of my favorites to check out every season to see the beautiful flowers.
10. North Pole Display and Santa at Fashion Show Mall
The Fashion Show Mall features a North Pole setup with daily Santa appearances, making it a wonderful stop for families and those wanting to get a head start on their holiday shopping.
