Once a premier luxury destination, the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas has transitioned into a more budget-friendly option, without losing its charm. With newly renovated rooms, an updated casino floor, and a lively mix of dining and entertainment, Rio is staging a strong comeback.  We stopped here recently, since we hadn’t been here since it came under new ownership and we were pleasantly surprised.  Whether you’re a Vegas regular or planning your first off-Strip stay, here’s everything you need to know about the new and improved Rio.

Prime Location Off the Strip

Located just one mile west of the Las Vegas Strip at West Flamingo Road and South Valley View Boulevard, Rio offers easy access to the Strip, without the hustle (or pricing) of staying directly on the Strip. With free parking and easy rideshare access, it’s a smart home base for exploring the city.

From celebrity chef creations to international flavors and fast casual bites, Rio’s dining lineup is better than ever.

Sit-Down Restaurants

Guy Fieri’s El Burro Borracho: Bold, flavor-packed Mexican dishes, don’t skip the burritos! Another Guy Fieri favorite of ours, we stopped by for lunch and wasn’t disappointed.

Luckley Tavern & Grill: American classics with a modern twist. Favorites include lollipop-style buffalo wings, signature Wagyu burger and tomahawk steak.

Hash House A Go- Go: Farm-fresh ingredients and delicious twists on traditional brunch. This is a Vegas favorite for breakfast.

Kang’s Kitchen: A taste of Korea in the heart of Las Vegas. Meals are prepared right at your tabletop grill, where you can enjoy Authentic Korean barbecue and more!

KJ Dim Sum: Savory dumplings, fresh seafood, rice and noodles! Choose from signature favorites as dim sum carts bring mouthwatering dishes to your table.

Canteen Food Hall Favorites

Nama Nama: Street food-style sushi from Tokyo. You will find quality sushi, made-to-order handrolls, and poke bowls here.

Shogun Ramen: Master Foo is a ramen pioneer from Fukuoka who has created over 600 ramen varieties.

Attaboy Burger: Chef Alex Resnick believes less is more when making the perfect Attaboy burger: a juicy patty, a great sear, and addicting sauce on a perfectly toasted bun.

Tony Luke’s: “The Real Taste of South Philly” Tony Luke’s offers cheesesteaks and hoagies.

Tender Crush: NYC Fried Chicken. Tender Crush recipes are inspired by NYC’s diverse neighborhoods: Harlem Hot, BKLYN ‘Q, Thai Queens and more.  Crunch into tenders, sandwiches & sides, plus sweets from the Coney Island boardwalk.
